The Greensboro City Workers Union, chapter of UE Local 150 has been advocating for the city to move away from the merit-only pay system, to one that includes a Step Pay Plan for the last 4 years. We finally now have the support of the City Manager and City Council but the HR Director is trying to confuse workers with an employee engagement “survey”.
